Melanocanthon bispinatus? - Melanocanthon bispinatus

Melanocanthon bispinatus? - Melanocanthon bispinatus
Newton , Baker County, Georgia, USA
March 30, 2016
Size: 6-7mm
Found this beetle in xeric Longleaf pine Sandhills that had recently been burned. It was rolling a decal pellet from White-tailed deer

Moved tentatively to Melanocanthon bispinatus
The genus is sound (I can see two spurs on the hind tibia), and the geographic location makes this the best option.

Moved from ID Request.
