Crane fly?? - Geina periscelidactylus

Crane fly?? - Geina periscelidactylus
Eagle (Village), Waukesha County, Wisconsin, USA
June 22, 2007
Size: wingspan about 2 cm.
We are so curious to know what this is. My boys think it is a moth but I'm guessing a crane fly? Its wings are leaf shaped and rough though, not rounded. Thanks for any help!

Moved
Moved from Platyptiliini.

Geina periscelidactylus (Fitc
Geina periscelidactylus (Fitch)

Actually a moth
in the Pterophoridae - Plume Moths. Lots of similar species in the Tribe Platyptiliini here. Unfortunately many go un-ID'd.

Thanks
Thanks SO much for id'ing! Figures I was outsmarted by my 6 & 7 year olds. ;)
