Did I hurt this centipede?

So about 15 minutes ago I just put a centipede I found outside. It was a small house centipede, nothing overly threatening.

I was quite freaked out by it, and I just wanted to get rid of it ASAP without any possibility of it touching me.

So I put it in a glass but here's what's been bothering me:

When I put it outside I sort of chucked it.

So it would've fallen from about my height (5'10") onto grass and soil.

I'm really hoping I didn't hurt it, and I'm regretting chucking it instead of setting it down nicely. So I'm wondering, how strong are centipedes? Would it likely be okay after getting thrown from there?

Falling arthropods
In general, small animals tolerate falls better than humans. I don't know about house centipedes, which have long legs. The legs will be more fragile, but will also slow its fall.
