Prunus Psyllid -
Bactericera cockerelli
-
San Bernardino County, California, USA
March 28, 2016
Size: ~2mm
Found on desert apricot (Prunus fremontii); most uncooperative psyllid I've encountered, I may be able to dig up some better images

This one's also a Potato Psyllid (Bactericera cockerelli)
Coincidental on the Prunus, I'd imagine (and perhaps uncooperative because it wasn't sure what it was doing there either)

Prunus
These were definitely feeding on the Prunus, there was psyllid excrement on the leaves and I found over a dozen of them, they just hopped as soon as I tried to bring my camera up.

Very interesting
These have been known to feed on a variety of plants in the southwest, but I've not heard of them on
Prunus
before. Interesting find!
