Size: 4 mm Long
Emerged from Carex lacustris plant dug in winter and grown indoors. Over a month long period, the wing length and body shape did not change. Might be a flightless leafhopper. From an open wetland area in an oak woodland. Some individuals had the reproductive parts depicted in the individual on the right. Could have originated from the plant or from the soil transplanted along with the plant.
