moth - Ctenucha venosa
Hunter Canyon (Huachuca Mountains), Cochise County, Arizona, USA
September 1, 2015
Size: 2cm
Seems distinctive, but I can't seem to find a match. I'm pretty sure it's in Erebidae, but I'm not positive. I saw lots of these while hiking the canyon. Habitat is a coniferous/oak woodland with open shrubbery.
