This animal crawled up a pant leg and stung 4 times resulting in necrotic tissue damage, each site approx 2 cm.

Female - Spider Wasp
Possibly something in the genus Anoplius, but it's hard to tell. Please wait for an expert opinion.
Here is an example of one possibility from California: Anoplius insolens: ♀ Your's may be a related species, I'm not sure.
