Wolf Spider? - Trochosa

Wolf Spider? - Trochosa
Thornton, New Hampshire, USA
May 24, 2007
Is this a Wolf Spider species?

Moved
Moved from Wolf Spiders.

I think so.
The shadows make the legs look thicker. Moving to guide page for Lycosidae.

Species?
Do you have any idea on the species of Wolf? I looked through the guide several times and cannot find it.

too ugly to tell
Good grief! That thing is hideous! I can't tell if it's awolf or not. Doesn't look wolfy to me though. Those legs! Aggh! How big was it?
