What Tom's pupa turned into - Denticollis denticornis

What Tom's pupa turned into - Denticollis denticornis
Mt. Washington, Coos County, New Hampshire, USA
June 8, 2007
Size: 10 - 12 mm
Tom Murray found this pupa under bark on the slopes of Mt. Washington and handed it to me, saying it looked like something I might be interested in. It looked like a click beetle pupa to me. I took it home and put it in the fridge till I had time to shoot it. I didn't notice the various "horns" on it till I photographed it a week or so later.
