funny, I have them down as "nr. nigrocincta" rather than atrocincta. Don't remember what that meant.

It means:
before the revision of Katz & al 2015 these specimens were tentativelly called nr nigrocincta given they resembled the European E. nigrocincta.

Yeah I understand the concept of "nr.", just not in this sense. So any previous "nr nigrocincta" are now atrocincta?

Quite right
pre 2015 nr nigrocincta specimens are now called atrocincta sensu Katz & al 2015.
