Found crossing a trail at night through sandy desert wash habitat abutting cliff face of granite boulders, found within 5 miles of collection site of male Apostichus sarlass described in Phylogenetic treatment and taxonomic revision of the trapdoor spider genus Aptostichus Simon (Araneae, Mygalomorphae, Euctenizidae) by Jason E.
