Osmia Bee - Osmia - male

Osmia Bee - Osmia - Male
Pleasantville, Westchester County, New York, USA
April 17, 2016
Size: 1/3" est.
This bee is bronze green, very iridescent, with bright green eyes. It is feeding on a trout lily. Could this be a male Osmia pumila?

Moved from ID Request.

Could be pumila male
but atriventris (etc.) can be very similar

Osmia Subgenus Melanosmia
Thank you very much. We'll try to find another and get better pictures.
