Mating Flies - Xylophagus decorus - Male Female
in a rural area north of Bow, Skagit County, Washington, USA

These were on a salmonberry bush about four feet off the ground. I got a message that the photo was too big so I could not submit the total photo. I am submitting it cropped to show the individual flies.
