stink bug nymph - Ascra bifida

stink bug nymph - Ascra bifida
Kent County, Maryland, USA
September 22, 2013
This nymph shares black bands on abdomen of green stink bug nymphs here on BugGuide, although most of those have black thorax/wing buds - which may make this a different species I assume.

Moved
Moved from Not yet identified nymphs.

I'm moving this based on similarities to this observation from iNat:
https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/30779394

The third photo in that series is a ventral shot and shows the mouthparts. I can't think of anything else they could be.

Moved
Moved from ID Request.

Quite distinctive, but I'm not finding a good match. Perhaps other will have more luck.

the plate-like body is similar to what we have under Ascra

and this one is likely conspecific:
just saying
awesome thing indeed
