After comparing to images in Blower 1985 and the British Myriapod and Isopod group, this appears to be Craspedosoma rawlinsii, a non-native Chordeumatidan first reported by Shelley 1990. It was first recorded from Gatineau Park near Hull, Quebec.

I've made new pages for the family and species, yours is the first record for BugGuide, which is great! It will be helpful to have this nice photograph to help others that may see the millipede. Yours is a male, you can see its body is wider where its gonopods are.

Thanks for the ID and making the new pages, Derek.

I notice that some websites give rawlinsi rather than rawlinsii?
