Size: 1mm
Found in a polypore. I don't know where to begin with this one: it resembles genera from a number of families.

Striate elytra would be Colenis
Not sure the genus Gelae have species with tranversly striate elytra. This would be Colenis, but I'm not familiar with Kansas species of that genus

Keys out to Agathidium, but l
Keys out to Agathidium, but lacks supra-ocular carina. Puts it in Gelae.
