Crescentspot Butterfly/ - Phyciodes tharos

Crescentspot Butterfly/ - Phyciodes tharos
Bullitt County, Kentucky, USA
April 25, 2016
Size: 1 1/4inch/
Found this pretty little orange butterfly in a sunny spot in mixed woods. It didn't stay around for more pictures. Looks similar to Crescentspots in my guide but also like some Fritilairies.

Pearl Crescent male
The mimic Crescent an Appalachian crescent is very similar.
