Size: 1 1/4inch/
Found this pretty little orange butterfly in a sunny spot in mixed woods. It didn't stay around for more pictures. Looks similar to Crescentspots in my guide but also like some Fritilairies.

The mimic Crescent an Appalachian crescent is very similar.
