Acrobasis caryalbella? - Acrobasis
Brazos Bend St. Park, Fort Bend County, Texas, USA

One record here from NE Louisiana. The only other species I found that was close was of A. demotella, but the apical 1/2 of the wing is much darker. At least the species with photos at MPG. Found at light.

So old I am sure you have forgotten about this one. What about Acrobasis demotella?

Donald, I am not sure about this one, but I think it may be Hodges #5666.1 Acrobasis texana which is obviously a Texas moth from the name. Look at these BOLD specimens here. A number of the specimens are from Houston and are light. Mine are often darker, but I had a very nicely marked one show up last week in Campwood that I will post so you can compare it.
