Corydiidae - Eremoblatta subdiaphana

Corydiidae - Eremoblatta subdiaphana
El Paso, El Paso County, Texas, USA
April 30, 2016
Size: 17 mm (including wings)
Attracted to 160 Watt mercury vapor and UV lights at Rio Bosque Wetlands Park. Not including wings (or antennae), its length was 1 cm. I apologize for the moth scales on this roach. I made the mistake of collecting a moth with other specimens in the same container.

Beautiful specimen!
I love this species! :)

Only those with love or fascination for insects
count roaches among the beautiful creatures. Most other people will flee in their presence or show them the sole of their shoes... Thanks for your comment Hisserdude!

Roaches are by far my favorite insects...
And I've had a deep passion for cockroaches, and all insects since I was very little. :) Thanks for the pictures Salvador, there are too few images of this species in existence!
