Triatoma recurva (Stål) - Triatoma recurva
Heath Canyon, Split Rock Campground, Brewster County, Texas, USA
April 20, 2016
Det. M. A. Quinn, 2019

spmn in the TAMUIC

Moved from Western Conenose.

Interesting one.
According to the CDC, T. protracta is supposed to have short, stout legs--and the other specimens in the Guide seem to bear that out. This looks almost like T. recurva...

...but that species is supposed to be restricted to AZ.

A similar specimen, also from TX, here.
