mimic
I am told by a moth specialist that this Pyralid species mimics an assassin bug, right down to the slow, deliberate walk.

I
mistaked it for a leaf footed bug until I got the pics downloaded onto the computer and could see that it was a moth. It did walk slowly and carefully so I can definately see what you are saying...Thank you for answering my unasked question :) I was wondering what the value of mimicing a leaf footed bug was but if it is actually an assasin bug mimic than that makes more sense
