Between-vein leaf mines on alder - Coleophora

Between-vein leaf mines on alder - Coleophora
Fredericton, York County, New Brunswick, Canada
July 25, 2015
Our common alder is Alnus incana rugosa, and I have been trying to id these long rectangular mines confined to the area between veins. Each of the mines has an exit hole, which can be seen in the image of the underside whole leaf. I searched BG for "alder mines" and found a reference to the sawfly Fenusa dohrnii - European Alder Leafminer, and this seems to fit the bill. What do you think? I have several images of different leaves.
