Yellow/brown bug - Willowsia nigromaculata

Yellow/brown bug - Willowsia nigromaculata

Size: Approx 1mm
I found this tiny bug in my garden. It was floating on top of my water jug after I filled it. It revived and after taking these images I flipped it over with a pencil and it ran up the pencil quite quickly. Is this a pest I need to worry about in my garden. I have been having issues with curling leaves and sub fruit production. Thanks so much for any help!

Willowsia nigromaculata
Is normally covered with a translucent silver shiny cover of thin scales. These were probably lost due to the 'water treatment'. Willowsia is known to be a domestic Collembola. Both W. nigromaculata and W. buski are often found in house. They are harmless, at most annoying.

No cause for concern :)
Springtails are among the most abundant critters in the soil, but few people are familiar with them. To read about them, click on the Info tab.
