Small Click Beetle - Aeolus livens

Small Click Beetle - Aeolus livens
Kuna, Ada County, Idaho, USA
April 16, 2016
Found under rocks in front yard, they seem common under rocks throughout this city. What genus are these guys in?

Moved, A. livens
Paul Johnson confirmed my initial thoughts. Will frass a few pics.

Moved from Click Beetles.

Cool, thank you very much or the ID! :)
:)

Moved, I am working on these...
so familiar but I cant put my finger on them. Paul Johnson suggested Hypnoidus bicolor but I think antennomere I looks too long for the Hypnoidini. I was looking akin to Idolus, or maybe even the oophorines (perhaps a melanic Aeolus?)

Moved from ID Request.

I have found Aeolus a few cities over...
But these are a little bigger than those, does really seem like a Oophorin to me though.

there just isnt enough resolution for me here though
maybe undeside shots will help

I'll try to get some more pictures later...

OK, got those underside shots for you...
Hope they can aid in identification!

going back to my thought of Oophorini
(which their gestalt looked quite well for at the start); and they do look more like dark Aeolus.
I sent the links to P. Johnson, who knows the western fauna well, to see what he says.

Interesting...
Thanks for the info, let me know what he says!
