Richland Center, Richland County, Wisconsin, USA
May 11, 2016
Size: About 1.5 to 2 inches
Extremely narrow and long insect. The wings are a light gray in color, and the veins are black, making them stand out and be very pronounced, causing a pretty pattern. There is a bright yellow back behind the head, and another yellow band a bit father back. Long antennae.

Thank you!
My husband says he sees these quite often when he is in the woods cutting trees, but it was a first sighting for me. I think they are actually rather pretty. Thanks for your rapid ID.
