Female reproductive [i]Soleno
Female reproductive Solenopsis not uncommonly have 11-segmented antennae, Salvador. I've even seen some with one 10-segmented and the other 11-segmented. Rarely or never more than 10 in workers, though. What was the size of this insect? It looks like one of the thief ant group of species.

Sorry for not including its size
This was the smallest of the reproductive ants that I photographed lately: 4 mm long.
Thanks!

Solenopsis. Some native species of fire ant.

Initially, I suspected Solenopsis, but
this ant has antennae with 11 flagelomeres, not 12 (including the 2-segmented club) as in Solenopsis, unless I am not counting right or mistaken altogether.

Yep, unusual for a Solenopsis to have 11-merous antennae, but the 2-merous club and widely-bicarinate clypeus are both major indicators for the genus. Additionally, the wing venation is characteristic.
