Predatory stink bug (?) preying on Trirhabda flavolimbata - Perillus splendidus

Predatory stink bug (?) preying on Trirhabda flavolimbata - Perillus splendidus
Carpinteria salt marsh, Santa Barbara County, California, USA
May 21, 2016
Size: ~1 cm
I noticed this bug that appeared to be feeding on an adult leaf beetle (Trirhabda flavolimbata) in coyote brush (Baccharis pilularis). This was not far (about 50 feet) from the location where a week ago I noticed some eggs (confirmed by Charley Eiseman as Pentatomidae) on the same plant species:

Browsing through Asopinae it looks similar to some of the Perillus images, like this P. splendidus:

I've seen several T. flavolimbata outbreaks in this location over the last decade. There's an outbreak happening now, though it hasn't reached the same degree of widespread defoliation that the previous one, a few years ago, did. Anyway, I'm curious about what sorts of predation the beetles are prone to, and would appreciate any help confirming the ID of the predator in this case. Thanks!

P. strigipes shouldn't be in California. Gotta be P. splendidus.
