I have read that both females and immature males are yellow. How can you tell them apart?

This is female
Yes, both females and immature males are yellow. And since precise patterning of the wings varies, the only sure way to tell them apart is by the shape of the appendages at the end of the abdomen. Hard to do from a photo, but I believe this one is a female.
