Albuna pyramidalis

Albuna pyramidalis
Upper Jordan River, Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada
May 21, 2016
Found nectaring on Alaskan Bunchberry (Cornus unalaschkensis) at around 800 to 900 m asl. I always seem to encounter Fireweed Borers (Albuna pyramidalis) and this was found along a logging road through a clearcut, so I have a feeling that's what it is again. It looks very similar to this individual: http://bugguide.net/node/view/126919/bgimage
