Linear-blotch mines on Potentilla norvegica. This one plant was heavily infested on the lower leaves. Could this be Agromyza idaeiana?

Charley, I have many more images of individual leaves of these two plants, if you want them. Is this a new host species? We do not have P. gracilis here in New Brunswick, according to Flora of NB.

 
Known hosts
Although this species is only recorded from P. gracilis in the US, it has been reared from P. norvegica and many others in Europe. See the list here.
