ID and sex
Bittacus strigosus, male. Great photo. The odd-shaped, multi-lobed epiandrial appendages can be seen.

This is a hangingfly
in the family Bittacidae, Order Mecoptera. They are related to the common scorpionflies. This one probably is in the genus Bittacus . - Chen
