Pinnacles Bee Fly
Pinnacles National Park, San Benito County, California, USA

This bee fly was found resting on the Balconies Trail. I believe it is a member of either Villa or Paravilla but I am not sure enough with the wing veination to know for sure. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. A slightly higher resolution photo can be found here:
