Flying midday over boggy ditch next to logging road through mixed conifers. Are the 2 'discal' spots on each wing important for id?

Not Eufidonia convergaria?
How do you distinguish E. discospilata from E. convergaria? The forage plants for both species are found in the area where this moth was caught--shore pine (= lodgepole) as well as labrador tea, etc. Both species of Eufidonia are found not that far away in BC. No species of Eufidonia has been recorded in AK.
