Size: 4- mm without silken ends
May 29, 2016: collected what might be a silken spider egg sac, covered with dirt or sand, on the stem of Grove Sandwort, Moehringia lateriflora.

I was hopeful that something would emerge from the neat little bundle even though there appeared to be a hole on one side
June 23, 2016: 3 dead wasps, and what special wasps they are

checked the jar more carefully and found another silken sac on the back side of one of the leaves
