Lady bug or Asian lady beetle? - Coccinella transversoguttata

Lady bug or Asian lady beetle? - Coccinella transversoguttata
Ridgeway, Kenai Peninsula County, Alaska, USA
June 1, 2016
Size: Less then .50"
I saw this little beetle sitting in my deck today. I was going to move it to my rose bushes but thought it might be something other then a lady bug. When I went to take a picture of it's face it jumped a tiny bit, so it's alive. I heard Asian lady beetles are biters- so I didn't want to touch it.
