Aggressive spider-

Aggressive spider-
Ridgeway, Kenai peninsula County, Alaska, USA
May 28, 2016
Size: just over 1 inch
I got up to go to work at 4:50AM and this spider fell out of a shirt I picked up. It was very lively. It crawled up the wall to about eye level to me and I took a picture and it fell- as it climbed it seemed like it couldn't get a good grip with its feet- it was NOT a good climber- but a great flat surface runner! I got out my spider catching dish and cardboard- I successfully caught it in the dish but it was so fast and aggressive - it ran around the perimeter on the cup so fast and wouldn't settle down I couldn't lift it off the floor- because it would get out- at one point it flattened out and had 4 legs out from under the plastic cup I used to capture it. One very strange thing was the size of the feelers on its face- they were quite large and it used them to feel every thing- kinda like an ant does. This spiders abdomen was really pointy- and had I think they are called 'spinners' on the end. I'm used to catching wolf spiders and crab spiders but this one scared me!!!!!
