Triatoma indictiva? - Triatoma indictiva - female

Triatoma indictiva? - Triatoma indictiva - Female
El Paso, El Paso County, Texas, USA
June 4, 2016
Size: 19 mm
Two kissing bugs visited my UV and mercury vapor lights set up at Rio Bosque Wetlands Park tonight. I suspect this one is a female Triatoma indictiva. This species has two BG entries from Arizona thus far. A CDC map showing its estimated US distribution indicates AZ, NM, and TX as possible range.
NOTE: Rachel Curtis-Robles, a Ph.D. candidate at Texas A&M University, who is conducting research on the spatial ecology of the Triatomine vectors of Chagas disease across Texas, after looking at this set of images, agreed with the suggested ID for this specimen being Triatoma indictiva.

Thank you Ken!
I also sent this BG link to Chagas Researchers in Texas hoping to obtain a species determination soon.
