Cuckoo wasp - Chrysis angolensis
Braunig Lake Park, Bexar County, Texas, USA

This small, iridescent wasp was hanging out on the wall of a building near the park headquarters. I didn't see any others in the vicinity so this little gem was a rare find.

A cuckoo wasp huh?
