Bombylius sp. - Bombylius

Any chance of a specific ID on this rather threadbare beefly? I feel sure it's Bombylius, but it doesn't look like our usual one, B. major, which is done flying now. The pale legs and reddish coloration of the base of the wings seems distinctive, but I can't find a good match. Thanks for any assistance.
