Formerly in the tribe Euliini. Species in that tribe are now in Cochylini. (1)
Explanation of Names
Generic epithet possibly from the Greek given name Eulia (Ευλία), derived from Eulalia (Ευλαλία), meaning "well-spoken". Perhaps the most famous Eulia/Julia from antiquity is the aunt of Julius Caesar, wife of Gaius Marius.
