Bee ID Request - Andrena wilkella - female

Bee ID Request - Andrena wilkella - Female
Herring Run Watershed, Baltimore City County, Maryland, USA
June 17, 2016
For the past week or so there has been quite a lot of bee activity in the sunlit gaps of a remnant oak-hickory woodlot bordering my local city park. When looking at the dozens of bees flying in the sunny spots the word 'roiling' comes to mind.

As there are no flowers to forage in the sunny gaps, it becomes apparent that the bees flying there are involved in mating and nesting. These are true woodland species, nesting beneath the leaf duff.

I hope there are enough details visible to make an ID.
