Thanks Much! My assessment, for what its worth, is that it is of Odontomyia arcuata-group. Look fwd to the more-informed opinions of others

 
Seems to be that genus
but sure does look a lot like O. cincta

Agreed. I can't remember why I discounted O cincta whilst I was perusing these pages on BugGuide late last night. Maybe it was my sleep-deprived addled state. But O cincta is the best match, with the pattern on the head, perhaps, being the most convincing
