Took this photo and the next two nights after the first one, but in the same location, so am guessing that it was the same individual beetle. I saw it a few more times later in the month. Curious about the brown fuzz on the elytrae, is that supposed to be there? At first I thought maybe it was dirt or something, but I see traces of it in other pics of this species, so maybe mine is just very freshly emerged and the fuzz wears off on older specimens....
