Butterfly - Phoebis agarithe

Butterfly - Phoebis agarithe
near San Benito, Cameron County, Texas, USA
Size: 2+" wingspan
I got my camera gear all set up at 0700hrs this morning in anticipation of the last butterfly emerging from the chrysalis. I have never seen the moment that a butterfly emerges from the chrysalis and I have attempted to catch this event many times. I never seem to time my observation of the emergence so I catch the actual event. I waited two hours this morning to accomplish the recording of this Sulphur Butterfly go from odd looking chrysalis to beautiful butterfly.
These are photographs of the event; I have the video on my Facebook page.
