Size: 2+ inches
was crawling up the leg of my Levi's... rather large beautiful moth... I am most curious as to the back of it's head? almost seemed shiny?

poor old guy...glad I just put a patio chair around him to block the crazy wind today. He's gone now... happy flying grandpa. 😁💘

Looks like a Sphinx
Scales on head are gone from wear. Frequently seen in older moths
