Monarch Pupa - Danaus plexippus

Monarch Pupa - Danaus plexippus
Parry Sound, Ontario, Canada
July 3, 2007
Spotted this low to the ground under a leaf South of Parry Sound. It appeared to have golden spots on it. It my identification correct?

Moved
Moved from Butterflies.

Also...
.. Queens look similar. Soldiers are similar too, but I think they're a bit more pointed.

I guess queens aren't really in your area, now that I've been looking.
