Bluet Damsel - Enallagma doubledayi

Bluet Damsel - Enallagma doubledayi
South Georgia, Ware County, Georgia, USA
July 4, 2007
On a stem of Bahia Grass

Moved from Mostly Blue Male Species Group.

Short appendages look distinct enough for me.

Wish we could have told you
exactly which male Enallagma it was, but that group of species is so close, it's very difficult. Given the size of the eyespots and the occipital bar and the length of the appendages, we would have chosen E. doubledayi. That's a pretty good ID if you need one, but we're afraid it's not one you can "take to the bank"!!

I agree. Thanks again.
I agree. Thanks again.

If you feel it's doubledayi
we'll move it there!

Moved from American Bluets.
