Wish we could have told you
exactly which male Enallagma it was, but that group of species is so close, it's very difficult. Given the size of the eyespots and the occipital bar and the length of the appendages, we would have chosen E. doubledayi. That's a pretty good ID if you need one, but we're afraid it's not one you can "take to the bank"!!
