What Cicada? - Cacama
San Angelo State Park, Tom Green County, Texas, USA
June 5, 2016

Cacama sp.
Likely C. valvata

Locality seems to fall west of Cacama collinaplaga

Note: C. variegata, collinaplaga and valvata may be conspecific and represent a cline. Minor morphological differences, similar (same) calls and there tends to be a clinal element with regards to the extent of coloration and pattern (per. observ. & per. comm.)
