Epicauta cazieri? - Epicauta
Davis Mountains (private), Jeff Davis County, Texas, USA
June 7, 2016
This may be E. cazieri, based on a comparison to a couple of Mike Qunn examples from the same area of West Texas, but other spotted species like E. apache occur there as well. I don't have access to the full text of J. Pinto's articles on the genus. This beetle was foraging on Buffalo Bur (Solanum rostratum).
