Condylostylus patibulatus

Condylostylus patibulatus
Block Island, Washington County, Rhode Island, USA
June 27, 2016
Common along the south of the island along the coast east of Black Rock Point, about as common or even more so than Condylostylus caudatus. I didn't see a single one there last year when I went some time in July and/or August, nor have I seen one at any time in my yard or on the Clay Head trail to the north. In fact, I saw only one all last year, near town.

Black legs?
If it has black legs and a hairy face, Condylostylus patibulatus, a very common species.

I thought I had the right ID until I noticed the legs weren't supposed to be black :)

I just noticed
I just noticed that myself. I'll take a photo of the face head on as well.
